I'm not going to tell you to like Ezra, but the interview did mention affordability being the cornerstone of his messaging. That Mamdani had easy to understand policies that both addressed a real need in NYC and defined his political identity. That he was going out there talking to people. The "virality" thing was really about Mamdani's ability to use vertical video effectively to get his message out there, just like you are. You don't have to like Ezra and Chris but I they addressed more of your points than you're saying.

I think you misunderstood what the podcast was, he wasn’t describing why Zohran won. He was discussing that in this climate where “Attention” is the currency of social media, it’s important to understand why Zohran stood out on social media.

I completely get being annoyed by Ezra on a lot of stuff, but this simply isn't true. The episode spends a lot of time talking about how he had clear, focused policies (and talked a lot about his walk through Manhattan, among other things). The part about different media ecosystems breeding different kinds of content and campaigning was quite interesting.
