the hinges already struggle with the weight of a full glass door, adding 50% more weight to it will destroy hinges in no time

The issue is the weight of laminated glass in upvc door it causes problems after a period of time but I recommend it too

Great video can you tell the difference by looking at the glass? Wondering if my French doors are fitted with laminated glass if not, I’m going to upgrade.

Agree lami is better but causes problems over time due to weight on hinges or if not installed correctly good video tho to make people aware we are from Bradford West Yorkshire and unfortunately some people here fit annealed glass

I have shutters on my friends doors. When I leave the house they come down also on holiday and I can operate them via my phone. If they want to get in they will. Plus I have a eufy camera against it with human recognition. Pay extra for your glass is a waste of time as if they try to break it you already have to pay for the damaged glass

I love laminate but it wrecks hinges with the extra weight, on sliders too the wheels cut through the track.

unfortunately 90% of the already installed doors and hinges on the market wouldn't be able to support the extra weight... When requested from new, then it is ideal 💯 Nice little demo 👌
