Girl this is a higher being telling you to change the sand!!! They did you a favor by draining enough water to change it!!! You don’t need a shop vac! Dump it over, rinse it out with a hose!!!!

I’ve watched all your pool videos. You have been having a lot of rain which is making the pool loose its chlorine. I used to have this problem all the time. You need to get chlorine levels up, add algicide/stabilizer to keep chlorine levels up and the rain/sun not burn it up. Run your pool for a few hours afterwards and then just stop, let everything settle to the bottom of your pool and start vacuuming everything but you will be wasting that water that you vacuum out or else your pump will spit it right back into the pool as dead white algae. Hopefully you see this and it helps. Let me know if you any brands that have helped me and any more tips. Best of luck girl🥰
