yes, because hatice is a way more complex character whose development we can see throughout the story. i keep seeing people calling shah “smart” but was she smart? she had literally one good idea how to destroy hurrem (when hurrem organised the attack on her carriage, but shah knew she would do it so she made necessary preparations, and later hurrem was exiled for some time, not even for a few months). shah was all bark no bite, she was presented like a cunning and smart woman but ended up finding only ONE good way to take revenge on hurrem. + she hated hurrem even before ibrahim was executed, with her fake smiles, etc. + she was obviously jealous of hatice and never truly loved her. i’m not saying that hatice is the most intelligent character in MC, but yes, i will always choose her. the fact that shah hated her old husband doesn’t make her better
