Needed a massive flame slash, his flames move slow but he creates an binding vow where he imbued the Flames with an massive sized dismantle making the dismantle visible to resorts to slower speed issue…it’d be an application of two techniques similar to Gojos hollow purple. He can also apply chants and handsign to the amp the flame slash making the Slash bigger in size/firepower of the dismantle.

the fire was originally slow, hit like a truck to be sure but slow. the one we see in verse was nerfed to only function in 1v1 scenarios (excepting domain expansions). in all honesty tho with dismantle and cleave he doesn't really need to fire all too much.

Here's the bit. The flame is just as precise as his slashes. Actually even more so. It's more noticeable than the slashes. More counterable. He also has to use both dismantle and cleave to even be able to perform said flames. This creates more downs than ups. So he made a binding vow that restricts the use of it on multiple targets when he's outside of his domain. Hilariously enough, it's precision barely has any applications for multiple targets already. So he lost NOTHING when making this vow and what he gained was the ability to nuke within his domain with enhanced fire power. In simple terms, dismantle is your 9mm. Cleave is your 12 gauge. Divine flame is your .50 cal. He traded the .50 in for a thermonuclear bomb. Did he need it? Heck nah but that's not the point. His domain sure hit affect is now expanded BEYOND living targets to hit inanimate ones as well, with each added inanimate object being used for ONE instance of Divine Flame. With his slashes, one inanimate object has become ten and the chain reaction continues.
