Okay, I’m not usually one to come on here and speak my mind, but this video pissed me ALL the way off. I support indie authors FOR FREE because I actually understand how much blood, sweat, tears, time, and MONEY goes into getting a book from someone’s brain onto a damn bookshelf. I’m a content creator with almost 14,000 followers. Is that 100K? No. Is it 500K? Also no. But guess what? It’s still an audience of actual readers who buy books. So I’m genuinely confused why an indie author would spend THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS to have this man review their book. And let’s be real… if you’re paying someone thousands of dollars to review your book, are you really expecting an unbiased review? Or are you just paying for the privilege of potentially getting publicly dragged? Because apparently we’ve lost the fucking plot. 💀 Authors: PLEASE DO NOT SPEND THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS ON THIS. There are SO many creators who genuinely love indie books, want to see indie authors succeed, and will hype the absolute shit out of a book they love—without demanding thousands of dollars to put your work on blast. If I love your book, I’m going to scream about it from the rooftops because I WANT YOU TO SUCCEED. Your money is better spent on literally anything else. Editing. Covers. Formatting. Marketing.
