@catalin.chitu.22.video: Po Sah Inu Cham Towers | Tháp Po Sah Inư | Phan Thiết Perched atop Bà Nài hill, just 7 km northeast of Phan Thiet city center, stand the Po Sah Inư Towers (also known as Po Sah Anaih Temple or Phan Thiet Cham Towers). These Hindu temple relics are a captivating remnant of the ancient Champa Kingdom, showcasing the exquisite Hoa Lai architectural style. Built between the late 8th and early 9th centuries, the complex originally featured several towers. Today, three brick towers remain, their red hues deepened by time: a majestic main tower soaring 15 meters, a smaller tower reaching 4 meters, and a medium tower at 12 meters. Though compact, they embody the pinnacle of Cham architectural technique and decorative artistry, exuding an air of both grandeur and mystery. Legend suggests an even larger tower once stood here, now buried beneath centuries of earth and rock. In the 15th century, simpler temples were added to honor Princess Po Sah Inư, whose name the complex now bears following archaeological discoveries in the 1990s. Beyond the towers, you'll find other historical sites: Chùa Bửu Sơn (Buu Son Pagoda): Originally built in the late 18th/early 19th century and granted a royal title by King Gia Long, this pagoda has been rebuilt multiple times after being destroyed in 1950. Lầu Ông Hoàng (Ong Hoang Tower): Located just 100 meters south, these ruins are all that remain of a French villa built in the early 20th century. It later became a French military stronghold during wartime, suffering significant destruction.
