It's because there is now a separate beauty standard for black women with afrocentric features and darker skin tones. Look at the black aesthetic on Love Island and socials, black women whose skin, hair and features don't fit the yt eurocentric beauty standard but their face card and african features are deemed beautiful. Age plays a huge part, because it is still very much the mindset of many males, between teens and 30s, that darker skinned black females are masculine and not a flex to date, marry etc, so despite having the lace front, lashes, filler etc aesthetic they are constantly referred to as Drogba, Mark Henry etc, due to colourism, featurism and texturism.
