Sadly I know of conservatives who “oppose disability rights.” There is some pretty disastrous ableism going down in my own state of Indiana.

It is political but we also have to keep in mind that it isn’t a left vs right issue and that a lot of people on the left hate us just as much as the people on the right hate us.

It’s a unique kind of sadness that pretty soon after I got my diagnosis in December, the government has started taking away our rights and protections. They are also defunding my job where I help others work with their disability and learn. (I work in SPED.)

Bruh us neurodivergence people are so underrepresented 😭 everyone just laughs or calls you lazy. No one even knows what our disorders entail I mean it still baffles me how little awareness there is about ocd. I wish people saw how much we’re struggling and realized the answer isn’t just being less lazy. But for us neurodivergent ppl who are forced to be independent financially, we have no choice but to conform to this world

I was talking to a friend about this today how Im at my limit of what I can handle at work and when I take on more it puts me into survival mode but if I need to work more because I can't afford living and the way it looks I won't get the luxury of retirement when it's put in my face everyday with my job
