@wpdeabc15: An officer on bicycle was hit during a pursuit on Ocean Boulevard Thursday night. Around 9:04 p.m., Myrtle Beach Police officers conducted a traffic stop on a Toyota 4 Runner at 1200 North Ocean Boulevard. Police said the driver didn't comply with officers and fled the scene. A second traffic stop was attempted a block north of the original location. The driver stopped but then accelerated, hitting a bicycle officer. In pursuit, the Toyota 4 Runner also hit a law enforcement vehicle. Police said spike strips were then successfully deployed, and the driver was taken into custody.
