@badiahand: I recently had the pleasure of hosting João Bocas @joaobocasofficial at my center. João is a global speaker and leading voice in digital health and wearable technology. We spoke about one of the biggest challenges in healthcare today the overwhelming number of middlemen. Too often, patients especially those with work injuries go through multiple unnecessary steps before reaching the right specialist. This creates delays, increases costs, and adds frustration for everyone involved. In the US, however, healthcare has become more of a business than a service. Grateful for conversations like this one that help bring attention to what really needs to change.
