@eucalyptus_hunters: Our favourite camp from a recent trip up to the Murchison region in Western Australia. Eucalyptus victrix (Smooth-barked Coolibah) is found in arid zones mostly on floodout plains. Occurring in WA from the Murchison River north, drifting east into SA, the NT, across to the Qld border. Can be mistaken for E. camaldulensis (River Red Gum) which is mostly found in the main river channels. E. victrix is often used as an urban garden and verge tree. This is the largest population we’ve found and we’ll definitely be back to explore more of this stunning woodland. #Eucalyptus #Mallee #Lignotuber #Smoothbark #Woodland #Explore #Taxonomy #Botany #Discover #Bark #Track #GumTree #Camping #River #GumTree
