I feel for him but all he did was ruin everyone’s summer by brooding. If he talked it out with his brother and bell/steven they would have helped him. Instead he was inconsistent and harsh to people that don’t deserve it. He ruined everyone’s last summer with Susannah

He's not good at communicating what he feels, but when he's not going through difficult times, he's actually very good. And no, Belly wasn't idolizing him; she really knows the real Conrad! Not the emotional wreck he was when his mom was sick (that was just a mask to hide how bad he was feeling).
