I think its because the tribes used these ruins for scouting and spotting wildlife.. They would use minimal pots and such because they had to pack them... their main camp would be more safeguarded somewhere close by within about 10 to 15 miles I'd say.. There are some of these type of ruins out on the Arizona strip around Mt. Trumble.. There are some ancient ice caves in the lava tubes..🤔👀👍💯
