@brookeblackjust: How have I forgotten how to do everything. Does this happen to anyone else? #livingabroad #travel #cultureshock #denmark #danmark #usa #american #americanmom #mom #momlife #funny #fyp #morlivet #mor #livingindenmark #lifeindenmark #traveltiktok #traveltok #lifeabroad
When I was a kid, USA looked like a place to be. Now as an adult, this just looks like an unappealing nightmare except for the nature spots.

Why eat on paper plates, I genuinely don't think I'll enjoy my meal.... And also everything else it's terrible 😥

The cereal aisle and the stomach meds aisle are a vicious circle. The circle of diabetes.

Also never understood the amount of eating out. I've lived in US for a while, everybody eats out, for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Why? In the Netherlands we just cook our meals at home

A whole aisle for stomach medication suggests that, maybe, hear me out, US food isn't made with that many natural ingredients and is, whisper it, bad for human consumption

Been to the US twice. Last time, in Orlando, there was a bar literally five blocks from our hotel so we naturally walked. MY GOD THE STARING.

While the EU keeps saying we need to remove plastic on as much we can, and then we have the US 🫴

America is strange. I don’t even use paper plates at the beach or camp. And we walk anytime it too far to drive.

I hated being back. We made the hard decision to emigrate permanently and are back in the UK again now. 30 different types of peanut butter in Walmart completely "did my head in" as the Brits like to say.

I’ve visited friends in Texas twice. And each time I was taken aback by the amount of straws, plastic cups and paper plates. I still love America though! And they barely walk. We even drove the golf cart to the neighbours’ three houses down 😅

I remember walking back from a restaurant to the hotel in Houston. Neighborhood wasn't sketchy at all. Cops pulled over and asked us why we were walking. Had to explain we were British. Weird

We don't even use paper plates for BBQ's in my family (I'm Norwegian😅). Only for camping. MAYBE kids' birthday parties if they insist on the Spider-Man or Elsa ones. Good on you for walking!
