Pacific Rim is a famous science fiction action movie directed by Guillermo del Toro and released in 2013. After losing his brother, Raleigh becomes emotionally broken and leaves the Jaeger Program. Several years later, humanity is close to defeat. The Kaiju attacks become stronger, and governments decide to end the Jaeger Program because it is too expensive. Instead, they begin building massive defensive walls along coastlines.
