I loved Monsterrat! Even if you’re not wanting to go to the monastery, the hiking trails are pictureseque and it was a good “break” from the crowds in Barcelona. 27 EUR round trip (including cable car!) from Barcelona!

I loved staying in Sitges so much and the food there, the grilled seafood omg. I was not impressed staying in Barcelona, it’s only 45 minutes from Sitges. I recommend book hotel in Sitges and visit museums and churches by train in Barcelona. I mean Barcelona is nice but if you are used to Rome & Paris Sitges is a better base then go to Blanes.
