I'm so sick of the McCafferty hate. Just tell everyone you're a pessimist that refuses to acknowledge that people can grow and change and move on with your lives. Nick has been therapy for 5+ years, is medicated for mental issues, apologised several hundred times at this point, stopped using most of his socials, raises awareness on queer issues, donates to queer charities, stopped doing tours (as often or all together), focuses on himself and his family, and is literally just trying to live his damn life. "Once an abuser, always an abuser" is a terrible mindset to have when one is actively trying to change and genuinely do better. Could you imagine trying your hardest to change and everyone is telling you that you'll never be anything more than an abuser? Stop being so close minded and acknowledge how hard he's been trying to improve and, to an extent, "fix" what he did.
