This is such a good point! Thank you for sharing. I learned this very late and to my detriment. I would also add that these insecure men can be very envious of other aspects of your life - intelligence, success at work, financial adundance, likability etc. doesn’t have to be a partner but could even be a coworker. The punishment is unrelenting

you could try using plastic gloves for the self tan. like the medical boxes of gloves you can buy and then throw away a set after using them.

for self tanner, use the mit to put the tanner everywhere, bend your fingers to also get in in the creases to abide white lines, then go over it with just a clean brush to even out. Proceed applying tan to other places and when done, just use your hands to wash out the mit and brush. this will remove the tan from your hands earlier as they dont need so long. Just blur out the line of tan from your wrist a bit and you will have like a not noticeable gradual transition with some tan on your hands but not too much and they will not look a different color

1. Soak your hands in warm water with baby oil or coconut oil for 10–15 minutes. 2. Use an exfoliating glove or sugar scrub to buff away the tan. 3. Micellar water (especially for waterproof makeup) can also help break down the tan.

I always put Sudocreme on my hands as a barrier (to stop them tanning) then apply a thin layer of St Moriz hyaluronic tanning drops after the tan has washed off xx

this makes so much sense! i was seeing a “successful” musician - its clear he’s very insecure. one time he slipped and told me he thought i was out of his league when we met.. he really tried to humble me and make me feel like i had to chase him.. i finally figured out, he ain’t ish. and he’s not flourishing in his career because he’s manifesting all that because of his actions… it’s very clear.
