Memorials was a huge letdown for me. loved Chizmar's Boogeyman books so I was excited for this one. I just hated the characters, and there were some questionable scenes that just didn't make sense, or that I felt did not have to be in the book

Memorials was set in Appalachia but I didn’t feel like it really showcased any Appalachian culture. Just kind of said, “hey, we’re in Appalachia!” Brother was phenomenal and Nowhere is on my TBR and I’m impatiently waiting for my library to get a copy. 😭
