the FG knot is better and smaller profile, this might be easier but when you go to SET the hook and the Alberto knot slips you're going to be wishing you tied an FG knot!

lol nah FG knot takes too long and isn’t as sure fire as double uni for leader, never lost a fish on double uni, catch sharks, snook, tarpon, cuda, jack you name it, never fails EVER

That’s an Albright special, discovered by Capt Jimmy Albright. Also, an FG knows better for braid to leader.

I thought that was the Albright knot?🤔 but either way, that’s the knot I use and I hoisted an over 17 inch Gag grouper up on top of the drawbridge on the Dunedin Causeway. That’s a very strong and good knot!

guys there's only like 3-4 knots you need for fishing, the fg not for tying leder to braid, uni knot for hooks, loop knot for swimbaits, and polymar not as a replacement for uni knot
