I’ve used chat gpt for quizzes, but it does make mistakes sometimes. A couple times my daughter told me a couple questions had nothing to do with the story. She was able to tell me all about the book, so I don’t doubt her. But we also do Book It through Pizza Hut… not quizzes, but still fun to earn free pizza.

I would just chat with them about the book they read, like you would chat with another adult about a book you had read. Read aloud revival has some podcasts about this. I wouldn’t make reading feel like something could get right or wrong, I’d make it feel like something to enjoy, like an important enjoyable part of living
