There’s something wrong with this story cause the flight attendant would never move a passenger. That’s the Gate agents job and if the child had a boarding pass, the seat wouldn’t be available.

The biggest deal for me with this is that they gave away that child's lap belt. They made that kids flight unsafe for 1k more. In turbulence people cannot always keep that child safe!

The same story happened to me. It was Aeroflot and flight duration was 10 hours from Singapore to Moscow. 😢
