I’ve been in crop insurance for 50 years. You only two, amazing. People forget that Saskatchewan wouldn’t exist if it wasn’t for the southern Saskatchewan farmer. So easy to burn a bridge and very hard to build one.

All insurance charges all of us for claims. Otherwise someone who’s never claimed anything from home , car , hail, or crop insurance should still be couple hundred bucks a year not tens of thousands for the farm. We all pay for ones who need in some percentage of

I have neighbours up here that a strait crop insurance farmers seed way to early or late let the frost kill it off and barely and chemicals so the weed pressure pushes out the crop

It is what it is, but everyone taking claims on crop insurance, drives the premiums for everyone, not just you.

It's insurance in general. Every year my car is older but premium rises. Every year my house is older but premium goes up. If upper mgmt of insurance companies wants millions more every year for bonuses then they have to raise premiums. Its all a scam.......
