My 16 year old recently went blind we us to walk everyday now she so scared she doesn’t want to and her sundowning is getting worse I miss our walks now it’s car rides to the park. But she is so spooked 😞😢her pacing is the new walk 💔💔💔

Just my 2 cents- try rimadyl for comfort and try Susie’s cbd biscuits for relaxation. Gabapentin is given for everything, and it can make some dogs restless/anxious. 🙏🏻 sorry girl ❤️

My dog went on like this for a while, one night she laid in front of me on the floor and just stared at me like she was asking me to let her go. The next day she couldn’t stand anymore, her body gave up. We rushed her in and said our goodbyes and see ya laters. It was so hard and I wish I had done it sooner.

My Nena girl was 16 years old. Deaf and blind with with dementia. She passed July 25,2025. I miss her so much. I was feeling so much guilt for watching her struggle and now she's gone. I love you Nena Nena ballerina.I know she's doing her prancing dance with her sisters March and Sprockett.

V Case :
Cow almost 14, walks in a room and forgets why he’s there. He sleeps so sound he wets himself, has a bad hip and our vet wants palliative care only. He still walks around a mile a day and acts like he’s enjoying his life. I told our vet we will all one day be in the same shape. I haven’t given up on him so don’t you. A day will come when a decision will have to be made but until that time he can wander around and bark at space.

don't listen to some of these people saying it's time, she may be confused but she seems to be moving pretty well and eating still, she's your puppy and you know what's best for her, give her a big kiss from me. lost my little buddy a couple months ago and he was very similar ❤️

I let my sweet girl go 2 months ago bc of this. 16 beautiful years with her and she declined fast. I couldn’t take seeing her pace in tiny circles, losing her vision, the arthritis and just not living life anymore. Her absence is so gut wrenching 😭
