this item is fantastic. IT DOES NOT DAMAGE YOUR CAR! if i use a taxi i show the driver. they love it. a couple of them said they would get one for their elderly passengers! I have been in a wheelchair for 12 months and have used it every time i had to bgo out. i am 5'10"so the help it gave me lowering into the seat was immense. i am nearly back on my feet now but it is something i will keep handy in the future. i oaid £26 from millercare😁uk

Door latches have captive movable nuts so they can be adjusted. It doesn't take as much force as you may think to shift them down.

interesting comments on here, I work in physio and have recommended these to help elderly people in and out of their cars and supported them with a device like this and haven't heard any negative feedback from them
