💜 INSANE WILD VIOLET 💜 This Wild Violet XY known as NSAIN is exactly what a proper old school Tuff Streeter should look like. Owned by Nik’s father Steve, the 1971 Ford Falcon XY GT has been in the family for 30 years, with the original build completed back in 2000 in time for his wedding. Since then, the car has continued to evolve while retaining the classic appearance and character that made the original build so special. Under the bonnet sits a 408ci Cleveland built with forged internals, AFD SP4VR heads, a TFC manifold and APD carburettor running on E85. Fuel is supplied by a Magnafuel pump, ICE ignition handles the spark and Pacemaker headers feed into a twin exhaust system. The result is a strong 650HP. 🔥 Backing the Cleveland is a manualised C10 with a TCE 5000 converter, sending power through a 9 inch fitted with a TrueTrac, 4.11 gears and billet axles. Caltracs help get the power to the ground, while an RRS coilover front end and lowered rear shocks give the XY its tough street stance. VY slotted front rotors and calipers provide some extra stopping power. Inside, the car keeps things traditional with GT Black Trim, a factory TBar and AutoMeter cluster. Finished in Wild Violet with the signature orange stripe and shaker, the stance is completed with Weld V Series 17 inch fronts and 15x8 beadlocked rears wrapped in 255 PSR radials.
