In Spanish we have a saying that goes “lo barato sale caro” which means “what’s cheap turns out pricier” ! I rather save up for months to buy the expensive high quality option than have to buy the cheap option every few months because it breaks

Car is a depreciating asset, get a reliable one that’s affordable to upkeep! Also, I’ve taken to not buying dupes anymore. I just wait a while to make sure I want it and then buy it (usually in a small size cause I don’t use a lot).
