The backs with the batteries are horrible for the controller always had issues with them

Use a pencil to pull the springs back up inside the controller, over time they get pressed down pretty easy

That’s good to know anyway. You get the game for your Xbox 360 because it really really really really really fun. Put that one and two and maybe I don’t know the pre-was on the six.

the clip for the battery package just have been worn down over time, doubtful it's a wire issue mine did the same after some years

if its a rechargeable battery it may have reached its max recharged especially if u leave it plugged in

I had the same issue I changed batteries fixed completely. So probably don’t get cheap batteries
