It's so easy to lie to yourself when the truth is so painful. I feel for his parents. Not only did he brutally take 4 lives, but he caused so much pain and shame to his family.

I think his parents are good people. When he was heavily using and stole something from his sister they turned him into the police. I just imagine they are still in shock and trying to come to terms with what he did. I think eventually they will realize what he did.

I am sure any parent would struggle to believe that their child would do such an awful thing and would be in denial. Does not make them bad people. They are also in pain. Not the same as those that lost children but a different pain.

Imagine how they feel today- JUST NOW coming to terms with what he did! For months they thought he was innocent 🥺 even framed.. This is unfathomable as a parent. I wonder if phone calls/videos from jail between them will be released

People are so quick to judge his parents. There lives are ruined as well; at the end of the day, no matter what he did, they lost their child too basically. I cannot even fathom what they go through. I would blame myself everyday. I pray for healing for them. Plz be kind people and maybe put yourself in their shoes.

ppl will judge them harshly for this but all this shows is that this is what they tell their family friends. they’re not going to the press & defending him publicly. at the end of the day they didn’t do anything, their son did. they have to live w the fact of what he did and it will inevitably take them time to process that. just look at how the btk killers family has deal w it. they were in denial too, at one point.
