And then there’s the Vancouver hiker who didn’t know they were going hiking so didn’t prepare but is already decked out in hiking gear anyway and always has a pack in the truck, and a second pack for stuff for their dog, just in case 😂

When I moved from Ontario to Alberta, the shocking part was not the elevation, it was that THESE DAMN MOUNTAINS ARE MADE OF SAND! They fall apart when you try to walk up them! The hills in Ontario are solid granite!
