I would argue if you remove the strip you’re talking about Paris Mountain would be the highest point as it’s separated from the mountain range, a monadnock if you will.

Jersey is where the blue ridge ends, New Jersey also has the new england range also called the northeren highlands. We have both.

I always think of ga lol. im quite surprised ha was not on your list, they are referred to as the blue ridge mountains in ga more than anywhere. we even have the town of blue ridge!

I tried to visit Sassafras Mountain a few months ago but the paved road was closed over a mile from the top and I didn’t feel like hiking the rest bc I needed to get home so I left lol
