Definitely human. It was mandatory for us to use an AI tool to neutralize our accents while working for a logistics company in the US. Why? Because some customers refuse to talk to us if we don't sound like an American.

I work for a company that has CSR'S in the Philippines. Yes, there are filters to remove or "smooth" their accent. The "goodbye for now" told me that was TOTALLY a human Phillipino call rep.

There’s a software installed in our computers called SANAS Noise Cancellation and SANAS Accent Translator. You do the search about those. And yes, he is a human, he is literally a Filipino.

Yes, call center companies use that kind of technology to help reduce the accent of the agents. I think it's mostly used in India/Bangladesh. I don't know much about here in the Philippines, but there are some that uses that for sure.
