Ya’ll, start early and work as an emt through college/weekends and breaks. I worked ALOT and now have 2 gap years, became a medic and I had 8,800 hours for apps this cycle

1000+ hrs as a surg stepdown PCT, shadowing surgeon in clinic and OR since june, unknown amount of time doing street medic work in harm reduction and at protests. still convinced getting accepted to med school is a pipe dream.
