I saw the video too. 100% absolutely agree but it’s 1mg/lb yes? If she had a 150lb dog - I’d consider 6 tabs a handful - but again, I know that’s not exactly your point here. I’m the same way with people taking OTCs willy-nilly.

Nala One and Two :
my vet told me to give my dog Benadryl. he likes to dig for cicadas and his nose immediately swells up. he was 140lbs so he would get a minimum of 5, 2 more if it didn't start going down. it usually started with an ER trip then the Benadryl after the injections wore off.

Omg my phone is totally listening to me. I just got home from hanging out with my friends who were in the emergency vet today because their pupper accidentally got into one of their anxiety meds, a beta blocker. The popper is totally fine now after the hospital visit, but very very sleepy

Benadryl was given to my 200 lb mastiff that had been stung on the face. It is a great choice for allergies/allergic reaction. 1mg per pound of body weight.
