It’s not just men unfortunately. Middle Eastern men and women call you all types of names worse than the french. I’ll never know why Moroccans blame white colonisers only but beg to claim being Arab, by other “colonisers”! Arabs won’t even sp!t on you if you’re on fire. I was born and raised in SA and i’ve seen it first hand. They respect other North Africans a little bit like Algerians but never respected Moroccans especially their women. Cause Moroccan women don’t care if gulf arab men are married they’re happy to be 2nd wives that’s why they’re known as w!tches, men travel to Morocco for pr0stitutes, muslim Moroccan women marry non Muslims so they think u have no morals or respect for yourself and god. interesting post. I am male, French and have spent quite a bit of time in Morocco. women in Morocco fight a daily battle to gain the respect they deserve. It is hard and needs to be seen to be believed. however I don't think this is due to colonialism. society in Morocco needs to look at itself, something it is not generally willing to do.
