I just polished off my charm bracelet. I’m pregnant with a baby girl. I knew she was a girl bc she’s an IVF baby. As soon as I heard the heartbeat I called Mystic to get her registered. That was just 3 weeks ago. 💔

I’m not a Camp Mystic girl, nor am I a Texas girl, but camp holds a huge place in my heart. I made my favorite camp meal for dinner tonight and am holding you all so close in my heart. There is no life experience like the one camp gives us. This tragedy is unspeakable. Praying for peace and the blessing your memories may give you.

I am not a camp girl by any means but my heart has been so aching for all of yall! I have a suggestion, maybe making a google drive or some type of file share to scan the songs and the papers and recipes to? That way there’s a record of them when the camp rebuilds and something for alumni and current campers to hold on to

Funny how we keep things like that in our Bibles to bring us back to those sermons and messages. I still have all mine and those are from 1992-1996. I’m just heartbroken. Nothing will be the same. This camp will probably never be the same and never happen again I’m sure. 💔

Texan living in norcal with a big pink Texas hanging in our front yard, glowing in a green light to show our love and support from afar. all souls lost have made a lasting impact on my heart. The campers, all the families and friends enjoying the holiday weekend together and those that will feel this loss heavier than most.
