Only use DAWN DISHSOAP. get the kitten wet. use ur finger and create a soap collar around the neck so the fleas don't climb to the face. dawn is gentle on the cat and kills the fleas on contact.

Hartz killed all 3 cats when my MIL gave them flea meds. The VET told us that they have been trying to ban their products but couldn’t bc it wasn’t human deaths. This was 13 years ago!!! Imagine how many have died 🥺🥺😔😔💔💔

I don’t know how this is still in production. I don’t know how people don’t know about it it’s been known forever. It’s not your fault but this needs to be off the market this is crazy. Only natural is the best way to get rid of them. Praying for your kitten you tried to help him hopefully he will have a good outcome. (((Hugs)))

Don’t put the cat to sleep until they say there’s serious damage like brain injury, some cats recover after! Get all the bills and information see if the vet will sign off on what caused it and sue the company if you can

As a vet tech please please do not buy Hartz/Adams/generic store brands or similar priced items. Flea and tick shampoo is also generally more risky than your typical once a month dose because you can’t dose it properly.

I’m so sorry for you. Most over the counter cat flea and tick products are just the dog products with a different label. Adam’s plus and hertz’s are companies that do this very frequently.

Omg, I’m so sorry for your kitten. I’ve used products from the brand before. This video just made me want to go check the bottles on my cats shampoo and it indeed had the toxic chemical, I immediately threw it away. Thank you for bringing awareness.
