Well the moment the cashier's check was cashed You need to do a paper trail and find out if the woman you handed that check to cash it and kept it for herself, if she work for the bank and she did that theft and FDIC should reimburse you

I did the exact same thing from a home loan. the check cleared almost immediately at wells Fargo. b of a finally cleared the check 11 days later. it's a scam where they collect extra interest on your money.
