Make a list of 20 items that you like to cook. Alternate the variety on the list. Tape the list inside a cabinet door. Cooke what’s on the list in order five nights a week. Then you never have to think about what is next for dinner. Then he will know what to unthaw are you can do it quickly. On your way out the door to work. That should give you one month of meals that you or him can cook on repeat. This method has saved my marriage. This method also organizing this your grocery shopping so that you will know what items you need to have in the house for the next week.

I don’t work (yet) but the double standard of “being home” drives me insane. He acts like I do nothing but it’s a projection bc when he’s home he does nothing. Like if he’s here he’s on the couch watching his shows. If I’m here miraculously things get done AND the kids are cared for but if he’s here absolutely nothing gets done.

Well, if you’re the one that has to do the cooking then it’ll take you less than five minutes also to take something out from the freezer. If you know that he’s not gonna do it then you might as well do it yourself.

He needs to organize his day. A lot of things have to happen early in the day to run a household. Maybe he has a nonverbal learning disorder & can’t plan things. Maybe he doesn’t care 🥲
