Good video! Weirdly though, very little of State Line rd actually separates KCMO from KCK. At its very north peak, there’s maybe a mile that does, but otherwise the KS side of state line is Mission Hills/Shawnee/Leawood etc

Technically sporting KC is in KCK as well as Kansas speedway, so there are some professional sports on that side

It's all one big Metro area. there are a ton of cities that operate the exact same way. Cincinnati, St. Louis, New York/NJ, etc. I don't know why people make such a big deal out of it.

Im not from here but I've live in junction City for 8 years and I have been to KC a lot. It seems to me like they are effectively 1 big city and the state divide is just a legality

Don't forget there is also a very small city called North Kansas city in Missouri. Small population lots of warehouse and very close to Downtown KCMO
