A step in the right direction, but here is the catch: France sells the mansion, and returns the money to the Central Bank of Equatorial Guinea, which is under almost direct control of President Obiang and his son, Vice President Mangue. What would stop them (using the court's analogy) from pocketing the money again? Mangue is not fighting for the property, because if it is sold, the money would still return to him anyway. I think he is fighting for his reputation.
