@horse.rescuer.and: I just don’t have the right words to summarize how this makes me feel. Eeyore was so broken when we pulled him off the KB’s trailer that day. And despite everything he’s gone through, he’s relaxed and his aura glows so bright. Yesterday our vet and I decided that taking Eeyore’s bad eye out will be the most comfortable for him. This will be done the last week of April, right on the farm and under standing sedation so there is minimal risk/stress. : . Thank you all so much for supporting our five dollar Friday for feed. I say it every week- but we couldn’t do this without you and I am so blessed to have this community surrounding us. Taking care of these big kids isn’t easy and it is quite expensive. Grain for one week is $2,000- and hay every week is $2,500-2,700. Those numbers are scary but also… I can’t help but feel an immense amount of pride. For as long as I can I will continue working outside the sanctuary as well.. the kids will never go without. PYPAL link in bio to help please . It’s been a yucky day here! Stay dry HHHH family! #eeyore #horselove #horsesofinstagram #belgianhorse
