It’s made of FSC Forest Management Certified solid poplar hardwood here in North America The Futon Shop was started by Suzanne Diamond, who first started learning about futons when she was going to the Boston Museum School of Fine Arts right here in Boston! She made her own organic futon when she couldn’t find a non toxic mattress for her new baby, and the company started from there. I’ve been sleeping on their organic mattress for a few weeks now, and it’s truly so comfortable.
