Same in Denmark. 😭 Sucks so much. It was a joy to use the taxis in South Korea, Taiwan and China, but pure financial punishment in Japan. 💀

Singapore doesn't have uber but yeah ride share apps like grab are extremely cheap for how much a car is there like even a premium vechile between MBS and Sentosa was only $25

Went to Japan this week and check hm is their rate via uber and its 20k-30k from Narita to Ueno 😭😭 I understand that its far but its too expensive 😢😢

I don’t agree. I use Uber in Kyoto and its just the local taxi co MK Taxi. In USD it’s cheaper than taking a regular taxi. It’s hard to call MK so it’s much easier to use Uber app.

Taxing public transit in Japan is higher class then uber black in Toronto haha. Like more clean, better service etc.
