The entire area is known for flooding and its an occurrence that happens every wet season. This was a once in a lifetime flood that nobody expected.

The guy commenting above me about how “it happens” well. Yes it does. Which is why we have systems in place to keep people safe. So why weren’t they used properly? That’s the real question. People dying to flooding in this day in and age at that location is not something that SHOULD happen.

29 ft in 45 minutes is a terrible natural disaster, I’m not a fan of trump but the amount of blaming is insane when it’s a time to morn, prayers to the families and all the children who lost their life’s and may Jesus lead them to paradise. 🙏🏼
