The strike zone on the screen is one of the worst things to happen to the sport. Pitches that miss by a centimeter have people calling for the umpires head.

Announcer makes it sound like the Guardians have NEVER benefited from a pitch off the plate when their guy was on the mound. This is baseball. Try “eyeballing” a 95+mph fastball as it crosses the plate and tell me EVERY UMPIRE would nail EVERY pitch correctly. NOT GONNA HAPPEN!

One thing about Skubal is that he literally always has a favorable strike zone, let alone ever gets squeezed. Great pitcher helped by bad umpires.

There’s plenty of bad calls in games but this one isn’t terrible. Ball is dotted right to his target going 100mph and is maybe 3/4” off the corner.

remember when baseball was by far the last sport to implement video replay reviews, despite it being the easiest sport to implement it in? lmao 🙄 This won't be fixed anytime soon. At this point half of baseball's brand is being "old fashioned" and "traditional" on purpose

The strikezone on tv is a perfect representation of the zone but each umpire has different zones slightly and even seem to adjust it mid game if they know they missed one
