@bassealhvactech: Troubleshooting the LG Inverter AC I received a call from a customer whose LG Inverter AC's outdoor fan was tripping off at intervals, causing the unit to malfunction. Upon inspection, I couldn't find any obvious issues, but I noticed the evaporator was dirty. I decided to clean the AC, check the thermostat, and top up the refrigerant to 5.8A. The Investigation Begins After completing the maintenance, I observed that the condenser heat was unusually high, even on a cloudy day. I also noticed the fan speed was slower than expected, which could cause the compressor to overheat and shut off. I suspected the outdoor fan capacitor might be faulty, so I replaced it with a new 2uF capacitor. After the replacement, the AC started working perfectly, cooling the room efficiently. Lesson Learned This experience highlights the importance of checking the fan capacitor in inverter ACs, especially when troubleshooting tripping issues.
