There are too many doctors that don’t do due diligence in the world of spinal or orthopedic surgery. Always get multiple opinions and see the absolute best doctor you can if you have the option to wait it out.

I think a lot of people are sadly going to take this the wrong way. Some people truly need neck/spine surgery. It actually sounds like he did and is just extremely angry about the body breaking down. Rightfully so but this will make people think surgery is always bad.

I have lumbar stenosis, was diagnosed at 33. I was walking hunched over and in a ton of pain. The drs immediately recommended spinal fusion. I did extensive research and found that over 65% of people that have the surgery are in more pain than before the surgery and are permanently disabled. I decided to do extensive research and go a more natural holistic route, I’m now 37 and stand straight, and can hold my 3 year old daughter and carry her around, I still have pain, but nowhere near the levels I had before that. Drs are in the business of preforming surgery and profiting for the hospitals.. you have to be your own medical advocate and not rush into something unless it’s 1000% medically necessary, and get different opinions.
