I always feel like people are isolating their kids with homeschool😅 But I don't know enough about it, it's not really a thing here in the Netherlands unless the kid is sick or something else

I’m over the comments about kids not socializing with homeschooling. There are homeschool(HS) centers that you can take your child to,so they can take other classes besides the ones you teach at home. Homeschooled children are the only ones who can have a conversation with any age group bcz at the homeschool centers(aka HSC)any age child can take any of the classes. Example-my son took high school Chemistry at 11yrs with a bunch of 16-18 year olds. In HS you can take your child to another parents home for them to learn a certain subject,& vice versa. We did”field trips”together,kids would come to our house to swim,play basketball,video games & paintball. Also,public schools will let your HS’ed child on their team of soccer,football,Lacrosse & Track. So a HS’ed child is only isolated if the parent isolates them.

There are a ton of great private schools here too. I went to one in St. Paul (secular college prep) and it was a great investment!

We are going on year 10 of homeschooling our kids. My oldest graduated in May and will start cosmetology school in the fall. My youngest starts 10th grade. We absolutely LOVE the freedom it gives us.

:so many negative remarks of homeschooling. my kids homeschool. they are also in sports, girl scouts, boy scouts, nature co-op, and so much more! they aren't isolated. if anything they socialize more than kids who were required to sit in a classroom, be still, be quiet, silent lunch if your in trouble, bullying, etc.
